Cabinetry Built with Care

Face-frame or frameless: our construction quality is unmatched. Manufactured cabinets (vs. fully custom) are a superior product because the defined processes and rigorous testing each cabinet goes through before delivery. From efficient and thoughtful design to baked on topcoat finishes, these are the toughest cabinets in town.

AGILE CABINETRY CABINET CONSTRUCTION

Quality Construction & Luxury Features That Surpass the Standard

It's commonly believed that you can get a better deal for cabinetry wholesale or off the shelf from stores like Lowes or Home Depot. Even Ikea can be more expensive than our products, and none can compare to the level of quality construction we guarantee in all of our cabinet lines. We offer an expansive range of cabinetry to fit your budget and lifestyle, while never compromising on quality. In some industries, it really is about what you know and where to find the best product.

All Plywood Case

Made in 1/2" thick Maple or Birch plywood with strong, secure hanging rails for peace of mind.

Dovetail Drawer Boxes

Made of 5/8" thick solid wood sides and at least a 1/4" thick plywood bottom for durability.

Soft-Close Features

Nearly all doors and drawers are soft-closing with only a couple of exceptions in specialty cabinets.

Solid Wood Face Frame

Face frames are 3/4" x 1-1/2" solid wood, meaning hinges and doors remain securely fastened.

Cabinet Construction: Face Frame

Whether your selected door style is Full Overlay, Partial Overlay, or Inset, the cabinet will always be constructed with a face frame, or 'framed'. The reveal between doors and drawers is larger, giving this construction type a more transitional feel. Depending on the cabinet line, these specs may vary slightly.

All Plywood Case

The side panels, tops, and bottoms are constructed of 1/2" thick Maple or Birch plywood. The back is fully captured by hanging rails for peace of mind.

Dovetail Drawer Boxes

No matter the line, all drawer boxes are made of 5/8" thick solid wood sides and at least a 1/4" thick plywood bottom for durability. They utilize dovetail joinery for strength. Under-mount, soft-closing slides are standard.

Shelving

Plywood veneered and edgebanded shelving is 3/4" thick to ensure no sagging. At a minimum, shelves are half-depth and adjustable. We can increase them to full-depth.

Soft-close Doors and Drawers

Nearly all doors and drawers are soft-closing. Cabinets that do not have soft-close are Lazy Susan and other square-corner type cabinets.

Solid Wood Face Frame

All face frames are 3/4" x 1-1/2" solid wood. This means that the hinges and doors remain securely fastened to the frame of the cabinet.

Toe Kick

Toe kicks are 4-1/2" high and are recessed by 3". Finished toe kick covers are installed at the end of installation to create a seamless look across multiple cabinets.

Cabinet Construction: Frameless

Also known as European construction, frameless, or 'full-access', cabinetry results in a more contemporary and modern feel. The reveals between doors and drawer fronts are tighter. Depending on the cabinet line, these specs may vary slightly.

All Plywood Case

The side panels, tops, and bottoms are constructed of 3/4" thick Maple or Birch plywood.

Soft-close Doors and Drawers

Nearly all doors and drawers are soft-closing. Cabinets that do not have soft-close are Lazy Susan and other square-corner type cabinets.

Full Access

Since frameless cabinets do not have a face frame, the structure of the cabinet comes from the 3/4" thick sides, tops, and bottoms. This results in full access and wider drawers.

Toe Kick

Toe kicks are 4-1/2" high and are recessed by 3". Finished toe kick covers are installed at the end of installation to create a seamless look across multiple cabinets.

SEE THE QUALITY

Dovetail joinery is used in all drawer boxes and roll-out trays.

Industry standard is a plywood dovetail drawer box with 1/2" thick sides. We go a step further and only order solid wood, dovetail drawer boxes with 5/8" thick sides. Each drawer box is capable of holding hundreds of pounds. The drawer slides are the limiting factor, but not by much.

Compare Our Cabinets to Retail Stores

We won't gatekeep the industry secrets - semi-custom cabinetry from a design firm is the way to go. A better product, with skilled design experts, ready to bring your vision to life. We're here to help you compare all the options so you feel fully prepared to make an informed decision.

Custom Cabinetry vs. Semi-Custom Cabinetry

Custom cabinetry is built entirely from scratch, offering unlimited flexibility to the extent of your carpenter's skillset, but can be less durable, especially because the cabinets are typically finished on site and not in a factory where the finish can be "baked" on. Semi-custom cabinetry strikes a balance between stock and fully custom, as it allows for modifications in dimensions, finishes, and features while still being more budget-friendly and faster to product than true custom. It can also be less of an impact on your living space, as cabinets are not finished on site. With semi-custom you get less saw dust and a quicker end result.

Agile Cabinetry Cabinets Vs. Lowes Cabinets

Cabinets from Lowe's are generally stock or ready-assemble options designed for quick turnaround and sometimes lower upfront cost. While initially convenient, their selections are limited in size, finishes and door styles. This can lead to wasted space and a more generic look. A firm like ours allows you to design to your style, maximize storage and achieve a tailored aesthetic that aligns perfectly with your home. Even if you do prefer a stock line option, we have the expertise to make the most of a more simple and cost-effective option. Where we really surpass the competition is our service - when big box stores let down a customer, they come to us.

Agile Cabinetry Cabinets vs. Home Depot Cabinets

Much like Lowe's, Home Depot offers primarily mass-produced cabinetry lines with preset dimensions and finish options. These cabinets are practical for fast projects but again, often require fillers and lack the design flexibility needed for complex layouts or unique spaces. Working with a semi-custom firm means you'll have access to expert designers, personalized solutions, and a wider variety of materials, resulting in cabinetry that feels high-end, durable and truly built for your lifestyle.
