What is the Average Cost for New Kitchen Cabinets

The cost of new kitchen cabinets varies based on factors like materials, style, size, and installation. Don't have a budget? Not a problem. We will help you assemble a realistic budget for your project. Our goal is to provide you with an amount that you can be comfortable investing in your project.

Budget Planning & Estimates

During your visit in the selection studio, we design a rough layout together interactively with you, so you can be comfortable with each addition and how that works into your final estimate. These visits are on average about two hours long. You'll review colors and door styles, and you'll have realistic pricing that works with your budget by the end of the meeting so you can make an informed decision.

Stock Cabinets Pricing

Stock Cabinets (Pre-made, limited styles and sizes)

You can estimate around $300- $400 per linear foot including installation for a shaker door style in a painted white finish.

As a baseline, you typically start at $6,000 for a standard 10x10 kitchen with assembly, delivery and installation included. From there your pricing can increase to include drawers vs. standard base cabinets with a door, accessories like roll-out trays, large pantry cabinets, taller wall cabinets, an island, crown moulding, etc. On average, our clients typically spend around $15,000-$20,000 for a small to medium kitchen when choosing a stock line of cabinetry.

Semi-Custom Cabinets Pricing

Semi-Custom Cabinets (More design options, but not fully custom)

$750 - $2,000 per linear foot

As a baseline, you typically start at $12,000 for a standard 10x10 kitchen with assembly, delivery and installation included. From there your pricing can increase to include drawers vs. standard base cabinets with a door, accessories like roll-out trays, large pantry cabinets, taller wall cabinets, an island, crown moulding, custom colors, etc. On average, our clients typically spend around $25,000-$40,000 for a small to medium kitchen in a semi-custom line of cabinetry.

Additional Costs to Consider

Hardware (Handles, Hinges, etc.): $600 - $5,000

Countertops & Other Upgrades: Varies greatly based on material, but typically our clients choose quartz, a material that is between $55-$95 per square foot in the Nashville area, including fabrication, delivery and installation.

Tile Backsplash: $15-$40 a square foot installed depending on materials chosen.

Sinks & Faucets: Modern workstation sinks from brands like Ruvati and Kraus start at $450. Faucets from brands like Delta start at $250.

These are just a few factors to consider when planning for a kitchen remodel and materials surrounding the cabinets. We understand everyone has a different budget in mind, and we're prepared to help you navigate the best options that fit your style and budget.

Recent Agile Cabinetry Completed Projects + Estimates

There are almost a million factors that can go into a budget price, which is why it's challenge to target an "average cost" but we did want to share a few examples with you on recent projects completed with final pricing for those jobs. This should help give you an idea or ballpark amount for your investment, depending on your kitchen size, line options, wood types, paints or stain, accessories and more. Use this as a starting point, but feel free to reach out and we can provide more accurate estimates for your project.
