Dura Supreme

Why We Sell It

Dura Supreme was founded in 1954 in Minnesota. Now based in Howard Lake, Minnesota, they continue crafting some of the finest cabinets in North America. Dura Supreme has a history of creating trends in kitchen and bath furniture. With a lifetime warranty and excellent turnaround times, we are proud to be a Dura Supreme dealer.

Dura Supreme has two main product lines: Crestwood and Bria. Crestwood is a face frame product which includes Full Overlay, Standard Overlay, and Inset door styles. Nearly all finishes and door styles are available in Crestwood. Bria is a frameless product commonly referred to as European style. Bria uses extremely tight reveals around doors and drawer fronts at only 1/16-inch. Similar to Crestwood, nearly all finishes and door styles are available in Bria.

Wood Species

Dura Supreme offers more than 16 wood species and materials. These materials include Cherry, Hard Maple, Hickory, Knotty Alder, Northern Red Oak, Quarter-sawn White Oak, Rustic Hickory, and HDF (paint only).

Exclusive to the Bria line is a collection of contemporary materials and exotic wood species. Acrylic, Wired Gloss Foil, Textured TFL, and Matte Foil all provide durable finishes in modern and clean designs. Shale, Walnut, Straight Grain Oak, and Bamboo are all available in a slab door style. Ask us about these exotic wood species during your consultation!

Unique Finish Options

Dura Supreme has several finish options that go above and beyond standard paints and stains, employing artistic, hand-detailing techniques that will have unique, subtle variations with each application.

“Heritage Paint” is a collection created with layers of finish colors, glaze and hand-distressing techniques to create an especially artistic series of olde-world finish looks. The top layer of finish (paint) is chipped and worn to reveal the underlying base stain coat. Glaze and spatter then create a subtle, aged wash over the surface. Available on Knotty Alder and Maple.

“Heirloom” is a collection of finishes on Alder and Cherry created with a specific stain/glaze color and a variety of hand-detailing techniques. Glaze is designed to “build-up” in corners and profiles to accentuate the carved details of the door. Heirloom is available with two different levels of distressing – Standard or Heavy.

“Patina” is a collection of finishes on Alder and Cherry created with a specific stain/glaze color and a variety of hand-detailing techniques. Glaze is designed to “build up” in corners and profiles to accentuate the carved details of the door. Shading is applied to outer edges and along the panel to create an aged look. Patina is available with two different levels of distressing – Standard or Heavy.

The “Weathered” collection is designed to look like wood that has been exposed to years of sun, wind and rain. Our special finishing process raises the grain to create a uniquely textured surface. Available on Alder, Cherry, and Red Oak.
